October 2022 Book Selection

Happy October and Happy Spooky Season!

This month’s book selection is The Green Mile by Stephen King. In The Green Mile, a prison guard named Paul Edgecombe reflects on his time working on death row and the events surrounding the arrival of a new inmate, John Coffey, who possesses mysterious healing powers. As Paul and his colleagues grapple with the morality of their jobs, they begin to suspect that John may be innocent of the crime he was convicted of.

The novel explores themes of justice, compassion, and the human capacity for good and evil. This is a classic by King and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
