July 2019 Book Selection

This month’s book selection is The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker. As a winner of the 1974 Pulitzer Prize, this book seeks to give an answer to the “why” of human existence. It also explores our refusal to acknowledge our mortality as human beings.

While some may consider Becker’s work outdated, it also serves as a great representation of past perspectives, and is a thought-provoking read, nonetheless.

Happy reading! :)
